Group Info

As a profession, we have relied on live discussions and presentations, and even if we are happy to present papers in front of an audience, many of us are tentative about the idea of recording ourselves. 

In the Video and Podcast Group we think about, play with and explore these means of communication. It is an open group where we meet to develop our skills and encourage one another in building a collection of videoed interviews, audio recordings and other materials that may be useful for us.

The focus of the group has shifted over time according with our interests. Initially, we experimented with practice interviews and discussion panels, more recently we have been creating content for the Psychodynamic Thinking website. This focus will likely shift again, which is part of the joy of the group.
