This course is open to members from all racial and cultural backgrounds. The starting point of this course is that we are all part of a racial group and that regardless of our racial or cultural origins we have all been shaped by our experiences of our racial identity. Using historical and statistical information to generate discussion, Trudy and Devika invite the group to approach this subject from an experiential and exploratory position, facilitating thought and discussion about the feeling and experience of race, culture, racism, othering in our personal and working lives and relating this to psychodynamic theory through discussion. Trudy and Devika will approach this complex and emotive subject matter with sensitivity, aiming to create a safe space within the group. This course will be run in 4 x 1.5hour sessions.

Date/Time:  Saturdays 9.30am-11am on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th March 2026.

Saturday 9.30am-11am on 20th, 27th June, 4th and 11th July 2026.    

Costings :     The course costs £120
