We are a community of psychodynamic thinkers. We are not a regulatory body. Our members come from a variety of professional backgrounds and are regulated by their professional disciplines or by the organisations for which they work.
We are not primarily a training school. However, we do provide portfolio training pathways that are accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (the BPC), and we are one of their Member Institutions.
Our Senior Associate Members may undertake an accredited training through these pathways, and are eligible for registration as BPC trainees. Those who fulfil our assessment criteria for our core training pathway are eligible for registration with the BPC as psychodynamic organisational therapists.
We also provide additional portfolio training for our Full Members, to enable them to register with the BPC as psychodynamic psychotherapists qualified to work with adults in private practice.
